Finding New York Wineries & Wines
With 240 to choose from, it wouldn’t seem to be difficult to find a winery, but it is sometimes a little challenging to find a particular wine.

If you know the region where the winery is located, just click open the region name and then the list of wineries for that region will appear. Since the Finger Lakes is a rather large region, we have sub-regions based on the lakes along which wineries are found. Those wineries that have elected to have an expanded or full listing on the site will be listed first in alphabetical order, followed by those wineries that have elected for a basic listing.

If you have a particular winery you want to find and you’re not sure of the region in which it is located, simply click on the Quick Search button and enter the winery name. You’ll get not only the listing for the winery, but those restaurants and retail stores that we know about that carry the product for that winery.

If you can’t remember the region or the winery name but you know that you’re looking for a Cabernet Franc (or any other type of wine) go to New York Gold and click on Awards by Wine Type. Now this will produce a list of wineries that make the wine you are looking for, but only those that we know of that have earned medals, not necessarily the exact wine you are looking for. You could also go to the New York Wine Course PDF version in the Information Station and search the full document for the wine type.
